The "Rock Block" magazine project was an exploration of Rock N Roll through the decades, from the 1950s to the 1980s. The project aimed to create a visually engaging magazine that celebrated the iconic artists who defined the genre. The magazine featured several legendary artists such as Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and many more.
The magazine's main feature was a two-page spread on Elvis Presley, ideally written to showcase his life and music career (written in Lorem Ipsum). In addition to the Elvis feature, each artist had a brief description (also written in Lorem Ipsum) and was intended to provide a snapshot of their impact on the genre.
The design aesthetic was intentionally black and white to create a professional and timeless look. The project aimed to make the magazine accessible on multiple devices, including print, iPad, and iPhone, with content that was consistent and optimized for each device's reading experience.
Overall, the project was a successful exploration of Rock N Roll, and the resulting magazine was a tribute to the artists who shaped the genre and inspired generations of music lovers.
